Syrian community in Germany

We are Syrians, German-Syrians, and those born in Syria who grew up in Germany – a community of academics, craftsmen, students, and pupils. As part of the Syrian diaspora in Germany, we feel deeply connected to both our homeland Syria and our chosen home Germany. Our love for Syria remains despite cultural differences, and we rely on dialogue, coexistence, respect, and mutual consideration.

  • Organization of cultural and educational events that promote dialogue between the two societies.
  • Initiation of programs for the exchange of professionals and experiences between the two countries.

  • Provision of social and medical assistance to the people in Syria in collaboration with official institutions and humanitarian organizations.
  • Utilization of available resources and expertise in Germany and Syria.

  • Förderung gemeinsamer Investitionen und wirtschaftlicher Projekte, die syrische Fachkräfte in Deutschland einbeziehen und den Wiederaufbau Syriens unterstützen.

Support for freedom and justice

  • Raising awareness of the concept of transitional justice and human rights and their importance for creating sustainable peace.

Promotion of the rule of law and justice

  • Representation of the rights of the Syrian population and prosecution of war criminals before Syrian and international courts.
